Information & Advice

Supporting Us

As a local charity, we are always grateful when people choose to support us. Below you can find out how.

Volunteering

Volunteering is at the very heart of Action in Mind. We have a longstanding tradition of recruiting, training and supporting volunteers in different roles across the charity.

It is our ambition to ensure that everyone who donates their free time to us feels trusted and valued. It is important to us that volunteers have a positive volunteering experience and ultimately feel proud to be part of Action in Mind.

Our volunteers give their time to a number of our client-facing services within the charity including Adult Befriending and the Hub Centre. We also have volunteers who support our corporate team by donating their time as administrators, fundraisers and by joining our Board of Trustees.

Further information on volunteering can be found here: Action in Mind :: Volunteer with Us

Stirling Community Lottery was created in 2021 by SVE.

Set up to support community projects in the local area, Stirling Community Lottery operates on the principle of raising money within the community for the community. We empower local good causes to raise money in a fun and effective way.

In a time of shrinking budgets and increased community need, Stirling Community Lottery enables people to support the causes they care most about, helping good causes to connect with their supporters.

A ticket for Stirling Community Lottery costs £1 a week and 60p will go directly to good causes!

Action in Mind needs your support to make the places where you learn and study or the local communities and neighbourhoods where you live to become better informed about and understanding of mental health.  Together, we can make a real and positive difference to people’s lives by bringing an end to mental health stigma and discrimination by creating a pathway of positive mental wellbeing for everyone.

The importance of mental health and its impact on the general condition of man can not be underestimated. This may even be an interesting topic. After all, mental health determines the physical health of people and well-being.
