Volunteering
Volunteering is at the very heart of Action in Mind. We have a longstanding tradition of recruiting, training and supporting volunteers in different roles across the charity.
It is our ambition to ensure that everyone who donates their free time to us feels trusted and valued. It is important to us that volunteers have a positive volunteering experience and ultimately feel proud to be part of Action in Mind.
Our volunteers give their time to a number of our client-facing services within the charity including Adult Befriending and the Hub Centre. We also have volunteers who support our corporate team by donating their time as administrators, fundraisers and by joining our Board of Trustees.

Action in Mind is registered with easyfundraising, the UK's biggest charity shopping site. easyfundraising has partnerships with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend on their website to a cause of your choice. It won't cost you any extra. The cost is covered by the brand.

The Donate button on our website will take you to our Givey page. Givey is the online donations platform serving the forgotten 95% of small charities, levelling the playing field and using the opportunity of mobile / social to reach new audiences. We highlight good news stories of people doing great work on the ground which is often £1 for £1 more effective and productive than large charities with huge overheads.
Stirling Community Lottery was created in 2021 by SVE.
Set up to support community projects in the local area, Stirling Community Lottery operates on the principle of raising money within the community for the community. We empower local good causes to raise money in a fun and effective way.
In a time of shrinking budgets and increased community need, Stirling Community Lottery enables people to support the causes they care most about, helping good causes to connect with their supporters.
A ticket for Stirling Community Lottery costs £1 a week and 60p will go directly to good causes!

Tesco Community Grants fund thousands of local community projects across the UK, helping to fight holiday hunger, tackle mental health, support young people, host community events and much more.
You can support us by shopping in local Tesco stores in Stirling, and after receiving tokens at the checkout, using these in-store to vote for Action in Mind.

Fundraising
We welcome anyone who wishes to fundraise on our behalf. Whether this is for a one-off event or donation, or to join our group of volunteer fundraisers led by our Finance Officer.
